Bellingham folk music fans, this one’s for you! Lend me your ears (and instruments)! Låg Jåms are here - a brand new bi-weekly tune swapping sesh happening at the cozy Larrabee Lager.
Usually every 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 6-8pm, we’ll be raising a glass and our bows to share favorite tunes from the Celtic/Scandinavian/Old Time repertoire. Maybe you’ve got a sweet original composition tucked away? Or there’s a rollicking reel you just can’t get enough of? This is the place to let ‘em rip!
The vibe will be low-key and highly improvisational based on who shows up ready to play. One thing’s for sure - the beer hall’s long benches will be filled with fiddling, strumming, and some whistling.
Not a player yourself? No prob! Grab a pint and some pizza and cozy up for an evening of free, rousing live music. Puzzles and crafts are especially fun while enjoying some tasty tunes!
The summer schedule for Låg Jåms are all Tuesdays: June 4th, July 9th, July 16th, July 30th, and August 6th. Find a spot on the shared benches, or BYOC (Bring Your Own Chair) for optimal tune swappin’.
Message Erin for more details/questions. See you there, my tuneful friends! 🥳❤️🕺🏻
